Kathmandu — The price of gold in the Nepali market witnessed a sharp rise today (Tuesday). According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs. 4,900 per tola.
On Monday, the price of hallmark gold stood at Rs. 241,500 per tola, which has now climbed to Rs. 246,400 per tola today.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs. 105 per tola, reaching Rs. 3,170 per tola, up from Rs. 3,065 per tola yesterday.
This notable rise in gold and silver prices comes after several days of stability in the market. Traders attribute the increase to the recent surge in international gold prices, which has directly influenced the domestic market.
