Gold Prices Drop While Silver Gains in the Nepali Market on Wednesday

Kathmandu. The price of gold declined while silver increased slightly in the Nepali market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold fell by Rs. 2,100 per tola compared to Tuesday. With this decline, gold is now being traded at Rs. 2,46,400 per tola.

On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs. 2,48,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver rose by Rs. 5 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs. 3,170 per tola on Tuesday, is now being traded at Rs. 3,175 per tola on Wednesday, according to the federation.

Market analysts attribute the drop in gold prices to fluctuations in the international bullion market, while the slight rise in silver prices has helped maintain overall balance in the precious metals market.
