Nepal Bank and Daraz Sign Agreement to Offer Discounts on Online Purchases

Kathmandu — Nepal Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Daraz Nepal to provide special discount offers to its customers when purchasing goods through the online shopping portal.

According to the bank, the offer will be valid from Kartik 25 to Mangsir 6, 2082 (November 10 to November 21, 2025). The agreement was signed by Mr. Dipendra Raj Kafle, Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Bank, and Mr. Rishav Thapa, Project Lead – Digital Payments and Financial Services at Daraz.

Nepal Bank stated that it has been consistently focusing on innovation and digital engagement, continuing partnerships with e-commerce platforms to enhance digital payment experiences for its customers.

Under this agreement, Nepal Bank account holders will receive:

• Up to 15% discount (maximum NPR 1,500) on advance payments made through debit cards, and

• Up to 20% discount (maximum NPR 2,000) on advance payments made through credit cards when shopping on Daraz.

The bank expressed confidence that this collaboration will encourage the use of digital payments, promote online shopping convenience, and strengthen financial inclusion in Nepal.
