Butwal Power Company Limited has decided to sell 3.1 million promoter shares of Nyadi Hydropower Company Limited that it holds under its ownership. The decision was made in accordance with Clause 11 of the "Electricity Related Company Share Public Issuance and Regulation Directive, 2078," and the company has formally notified the public about this move.
The lock-in period for Nyadi Hydropower’s promoter shares ended on Kartik 4 (October 21). Following the expiration of this restriction, Butwal Power has now opted to sell its shares in the secondary market.
This decision is seen as part of the company's investment restructuring strategy. Further details, including the selling price and timeline of the share sale, are expected to be announced soon. The move is likely to increase trading activity of Nyadi Hydropower shares in the secondary market.
