The prices of gold and silver have reached an all-time high in the Nepali market on Monday, October 13 (Asoj 27). According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold surged by Rs. 2,400 per tola, while silver rose by Rs. 95 per tola, breaking previous records.
Today, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs. 2,40,400 per tola, the highest in Nepal’s history. On Sunday, it was traded at Rs. 2,38,000 per tola. The previous record was Rs. 2,39,200 per tola on Asoj 23, which has now been surpassed.
Similarly, the price of silver has climbed to a historic Rs. 3,220 per tola, up from Rs. 3,125 on Sunday. The continuous rise in silver prices in recent weeks has further strengthened the precious metals market. Analysts say the surge is driven by global market trends, weakening of the U.S. dollar, and rising investment demand for safe-haven assets.
Summary:
Gold has hit Rs. 2,40,400 and silver Rs. 3,220 per tola — both reaching record highs in Nepal’s bullion market, marking strong momentum in precious metals.
