Gold Hits New Record High, Silver Slightly Declines

On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, gold prices in the Nepali market continued their record-breaking streak. The price of gold rose by Rs. 2,000 per tola, reaching Rs. 207,900 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. On Tuesday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs. 205,900 per tola. This marks the fifth consecutive day of record highs for gold. Meanwhile, silver prices, which had also been setting new records in recent days, saw a slight decline. On Wednesday, silver fell by Rs. 5 per tola and was traded at Rs. 2,480 per tola, compared to Tuesday’s Rs. 2,485 per tola — still the highest level recorded so far.
