Last Day to Secure Dividends of Six Companies as Book-Closure Dates Approach

Thursday is the final day for investors to secure dividends from six listed companies on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). Only shareholders who hold shares until the end of today’s trading session will be eligible to participate in the upcoming annual general meetings (AGMs) and receive the declared dividends.

The six companies whose dividend eligibility deadline falls today are:

  • Shine Resunga Development Bank

  • Sarbottam Cement

  • Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA)

  • Agricultural Development Bank (ADBL)

  • Barun Hydropower

  • Ngadi Group Power

Three Companies Closing Books on Mangsir 12

Shine Resunga Development Bank, Sarbottam Cement and Nepal Infrastructure Bank will conduct their book-closure on Friday, Mangsir 12.
Accordingly, only shareholders who buy and hold shares by today will retain dividend and AGM participation rights.

Three Companies Closing Books on Mangsir 14

Agricultural Development Bank, Barun Hydropower and Ngadi Group Power will hold their book-closure on Sunday, Mangsir 14.
This also means investors must purchase shares by today to qualify for their respective dividends.

Shine Resunga Development Bank – 17th AGM

Shine Resunga Development Bank has scheduled its 17th Annual General Meeting for Friday, Mangsir 26 at Hotel Saffron C.K. Pvt. Ltd., Butwal.
The AGM will endorse:

  • 3% bonus shares

  • 10% cash dividend (including tax)

The meeting will also discuss:

  • Authorizing the Board for merger/acquisition activities

  • Amending the Memorandum and Articles of Association

  • Appointment of auditors

Sarbottam Cement – 7th AGM

Sarbottam Cement will hold its 7th AGM on Friday, Mangsir 26 at Hotel Siddhartha Vilasa, Bhairahawa.
The AGM will approve:

  • 5% bonus shares

  • 15% cash dividend (including tax)

Other proposals include amendments to governing documents and auditor appointments.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA) – 7th AGM

NIFRA has scheduled its 7th AGM for Tuesday, Mangsir 23 at Anupam Foodland & Banquet, Battisputali, Kathmandu.
The meeting will approve:

  • 6.3158% cash dividend (including tax)

Additionally, the AGM will elect two directors representing public shareholders, and appoint auditors.

Agricultural Development Bank (ADBL) – 19th AGM

Agricultural Development Bank will convene its 19th AGM on Monday, Mangsir 29 at its Central Training Academy in Bode, Bhaktapur.
The AGM will endorse:

  • 3.5% bonus shares

  • 9.75% cash dividend (including tax)

For non-redeemable preference shareholders, the AGM will also approve 6% cash dividend.
Other proposals include document amendments, auditor appointments and granting authority to the Board for necessary policy revisions.

Barun Hydropower – 22nd AGM

Barun Hydropower will hold its 22nd AGM on Friday, Mangsir 26 at Smart Darbar, Shankhamul, Kathmandu.
The AGM will discuss:

  • 4.75% bonus shares

  • 0.25% cash dividend (for tax purposes)

The meeting will also approve governance reports, auditor appointments and amendments to legal documents.

Ngadi Group Power – 12th AGM

Ngadi Group Power has scheduled its 12th AGM for Thursday, Mangsir 25 at Smart Darbar, Shankhamul, Kathmandu.
The AGM will approve:

  • 4.75% bonus shares

  • 0.25% cash dividend (for tax purposes)

The meeting will also address amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association, approve governance reports, confirm board appointments and appoint auditors.
