Sanima Middle Tamor and Vyoma Hydropower to Jointly Develop Dudhkoshi-4 Hydropower Project

Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited, in joint venture with Vyoma Hydropower Pvt. Ltd., has been selected to develop the 47 MW Dudhkoshi-4 Hydropower Project under the Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model.
According to the Department of Electricity Development (DoED) under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, the selection was confirmed through an official letter dated 2082/05/10.
The project will be developed, constructed, and operated by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), in which Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited will hold a 6% equity stake. The company’s Board of Directors formally approved the decision to establish the SPV during its meeting held on 2082/05/19.
The advancement of the Dudhkoshi-4 project is considered a significant milestone for Nepal’s renewable energy sector, as it aims to further expand the nation’s clean energy capacity.
