Sumima Hydropower to Hold AGM to Approve IPO Issuance

Sumima Hydropower Company Limited has announced plans to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public. In this regard, the company has convened its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) with an agenda to approve the IPO proposal.

The AGM will be held on Friday, Magh 9, at Crystal Banquet, Kathmandu. The meeting is expected to pass the proposal related to the IPO issuance and also approve amendments to the company’s Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association in line with regulatory requirements.

Additionally, the AGM will authorize the Board of Directors to carry out necessary amendments and procedures as instructed by regulatory authorities. With this move, Sumima Hydropower is taking a formal step toward entering Nepal’s capital market through public share issuance.
