The bank has decided to close its shareholders book for one day, on Kartik 18 (approximately November 4/5, depending on the calendar), for the purpose of dividend distribution and the Annual General Meeting (AGM). To endorse the dividend, the bank is holding its 19th Annual General Meeting on Kartik 27 (approximately November 13) at Hotel Pokhara Grande in Pokhara, starting at 11 AM. The AGM will primarily focus on passing the special resolution to distribute the announced dividend to its shareholders.
Other significant agendas for the AGM include special resolutions to approve the relocation of the registered office, changing the bank's seal and logo, and granting the board of directors the full authority to proceed with the merger or acquisition of other suitable banks and financial institutions. Furthermore, the meeting will pass resolutions related to amending the memorandum and articles of association and appointing an auditor for the upcoming fiscal year.
