Provincial Governments on Ashar 1,
Local Governments on Ashar 10.
Despite this clear timetable, several local units have failed to comply even after four months into the fiscal year.
Possible Impact of Budget Delays
The delay in budget presentation can disrupt:
Implementation of annual development plans
Social security allowance distribution
Local service delivery
Infrastructure projects
Financial planning and expenditure management
Experts warn that if the local units do not present their budgets soon, the execution of the fiscal year’s programs will face significant challenges.
