Arun Kabeli Power to Hold AGM on October 18 to Approve Rights Share Issuance

Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) has announced its 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the proposal for issuing rights shares. The meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2025 (Ashoj 3, 2082 BS) at 1 PM at Hotel Crystal Pashupati, Pingalastan, Gaushala, Kathmandu.
The AGM will discuss and approve the issuance of 50% rights shares of the current paid-up capital to invest further in Kabeli Energy Limited and partially repay long-term bank loans. In addition, the meeting will endorse investments already made in other companies’ promoter shares, approve investments in new companies, and authorize the Board of Directors to amend the company’s Articles and Regulations.
For the purpose of the AGM, the company has decided to close its book on September 10, 2025 (Bhadra 25). Accordingly, shareholders registered in NEPSE till September 9, 2025 (Bhadra 24) will be eligible to participate in the AGM.
