Daunne Agro Farm’s Annual Egg Production Surpasses 110 Million, Moves Forward with IPO Process

Daunne Agro Farm Limited, which is preparing to issue its Initial Public Offering (IPO), produced eggs worth NPR 111,142,000 in the last fiscal year. The company produced and sold 529,250 crates of eggs over the year. According to Chairman Binod Pokharel, the farm is currently producing 1,450 crates of eggs daily.
Located on about 11 bighas of land in Sardi, Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality–3, Nawalparasi (Susta East–Triveni East), the farm is currently home to 400,000 chickens, with plans to increase the number to 600,000 in the near future.
In the last fiscal year, the company earned a net profit of NPR 81.59 million. Its Earnings Per Share (EPS) reached NPR 18.37, a significant rise from NPR 3.64 in FY 2080/81. In FY 2080/81, the company’s net profit stood at NPR 26.3 million. The company’s paid-up capital increased from NPR 270 million in FY 2080/81 to NPR 500 million in the last fiscal year.
The company’s annual general meeting (AGM) unanimously approved the financial and progress report for FY 2081/82. Under a special resolution, the AGM also approved the proposal to proceed with the IPO issuance, with all necessary legal processes already completed.
During the program, Founder Chairman Raghunath Bhatt, Directors Hemraj Badal, Dr. Ananta Dahal, Dr. Ashish Pokharel, Financial Advisor Rishiram Chalise, Chairman of Adhyant Fund Management Manoj Paudel, and shareholder representative Madhav Prasad Aryal expressed their views.
Chief Executive Officer Bijay Prasad Paudel and Company Secretary Surendranath Regmi presented the financial report and shared updates about the company. On the occasion of the AGM, Founder Chairman Raghunath Bhatt, former Directors Dron Prasad Lamichhane, and Himalaya Paudel were honored.
