Dordi Khola Hydropower to Issue 56.62 Percent Rights Shares

Kathmandu — Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited has decided to issue 56.62 percent rights shares to its existing shareholders.

The decision was taken at a board of directors’ meeting held on Mangsir 28, where the company approved the proposal to issue rights shares equivalent to 56.62 percent of its current paid-up capital.

To seek shareholders’ approval, the company has scheduled its annual general meeting (AGM) for Poush 21. Following approval from the AGM and relevant regulatory authorities, the company will proceed with the rights issue process.

The company expects the funds raised through the rights offering to be used for meeting financial obligations related to its hydropower projects and for strengthening its capital structure.
