Dordi Khola Hydropower’s Promoter Shares Now Tradable in Secondary Market

Promoter shares of Dordi Khola Jalvidhyut Company Limited have become tradable in the secondary market starting today, Sunday (Ashadh 8). The three-year lock-in period ended yesterday, Saturday (Ashadh 7), allowing these shares to be bought and sold on NEPSE.

A total of 8,412,960 shares have come out of the lock-in restriction. Among them, 7,590,675 shares belong to the promoter group, 756,420 shares to project-affected locals, and 65,865 shares to company employees.

These shares had been under a mandatory three-year lock-in period following the company’s IPO allotment on Ashadh 8, 2079, as per Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) regulations.

Now, promoter shareholders are allowed to sell their shares on NEPSE. However, the company has stated that senior management personnel are still restricted from trading their shares.
