Foreign exchange rate made public: US Dollar at 140 Rupees

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for Thursday, indicating an increase in the value of foreign currencies, including the US Dollar, European Euro, and UK Pound Sterling. The buying rate of one US Dollar has been set at NPR 139.65, while the selling rate is NPR 140.25. Similarly, the European Euro has a buying rate of NPR 145.49 and a selling rate of NPR 146.11. Likewise, the UK Pound Sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 175.11 and a selling rate of NPR 175.87.

Among other currencies, the Australian Dollar is valued at NPR 87.76 for buying and NPR 88.14 for selling. The Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 19.20 buying rate and NPR 19.28 selling rate. The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised as necessary.
