Gold and Silver Prices Record Significant Decline in Local Market

Tuesday, December 30, 2025 — Kathmandu. Gold and silver prices witnessed a sharp decline in the local market on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of gold dropped by NPR 7,900 per tola compared to the previous day, settling at NPR 262,100 per tola. On the previous trading day, gold was priced at NPR 270,000 per tola, which had also fallen by NPR 600. Similarly, silver prices declined as well, with silver falling by NPR 305 per tola to reach NPR 4,590 per tola in today’s market.
