Gold and Silver Prices Rise Significantly in the Nepali Market

Gold and silver prices recorded a notable increase in the Nepali market on Friday, January 2, 2026. The price of gold surged by NPR 2,900 per tola to reach NPR 262,500, up from NPR 259,600 in the previous trading session. Similarly, silver prices rose by NPR 110 per tola, trading at NPR 4,525 compared to NPR 4,415 on Thursday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the rise has been driven by international market trends and domestic demand.
