AGMs of Six NEPSE-Listed Companies Taking Place Today

Kathmandu – Six companies listed on the NEPSE have called their Annual General Meetings (AGMs) today to endorse key corporate agendas. Through their respective AGMs, the companies are set to approve the financial statements for the fiscal year 2024/25 (FY 2081/82), along with proposals related to dividend distribution, appointment of auditors, election of directors, and other strategic decisions.
Jhapa Energy Limited will hold its seventh AGM to approve financial statements, appoint an auditor, elect directors, and include a chief advisor in its organizational structure. Seed Energy Limited is preparing to pass proposals including a 3.1579 percent cash dividend, approval of financial reports, and matters related to IPO issuance at its fourth AGM.
Similarly, Nepal SBI Bank Limited will present proposals at its 32nd AGM for distributing a 5 percent cash dividend and 4 percent bonus shares, along with director elections, merger and acquisition matters, and amendments to its memorandum of association. Nivix Pharmaceuticals Limited will table proposals related to IPO issuance, appointment of an independent director, and amendments to company bylaws at its eighth AGM.
Meanwhile, Citizen Life Insurance Company Limited plans to approve a 20 percent cash dividend and financial statements at its ninth AGM. Ruby Valley Hydropower Limited will also hold its ninth AGM to approve financial reports, endorse the upcoming fiscal year’s action plan, and reconstitute its board of directors.
