On Tuesday, September 2, gold and silver prices in the Nepali market continued their record-breaking surge. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs. 600 per tola, reaching Rs. 205,900. On Monday, gold was traded at Rs. 205,300 per tola.
Similarly, silver also hit a fresh record, climbing by Rs. 15 per tola. On Tuesday, silver was traded at Rs. 2,485 per tola, compared to Rs. 2,470 on Monday. This marks the third consecutive day of silver’s record-breaking rise.
Analysts say that the rally is fueled by international price increases, a stronger U.S. dollar, and growing investor preference for gold and silver as safe-haven assets.
