Gold Down by Rs 2,000, Silver by Rs 35 Per Tola

Both gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has dropped by Rs 2,000 per tola compared to yesterday, settling at Rs 239,900 per tola.

On Sunday (Kartik 9), the same gold was traded at Rs 241,900 per tola. The decline in international gold rates has influenced the domestic market, the federation reported.

Similarly, silver prices have also weakened. Silver, which was traded at Rs 3,015 per tola yesterday, fell by Rs 35 and is now priced at Rs 2,980 per tola.
