Gold Drops by Rs. 1,700, Silver by Rs. 15 in Nepali Market

On Thursday, September 25 (Ashoj 9), the Nepali bullion market witnessed a sharp decline in prices of precious metals. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold fell by Rs. 1,700 per tola, settling at Rs. 221,300. Just a day earlier, on Wednesday, the price had hit an all-time high of Rs. 223,000 per tola.

Silver prices also dropped. Today, silver declined by Rs. 15 per tola, trading at Rs. 2,685 compared to Rs. 2,700 the previous day. This marks a reversal after silver had been breaking records for four consecutive days.
