Gold Price Increases for 3rd Consecutive Day; Silver Also Rises

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the price of gold in the Nepali market increased for the third straight day. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is now being traded at NPR 198,500 per tola—an increase of NPR 1,900 compared to the previous day’s NPR 196,600. Similarly, the price of silver has also climbed by NPR 25 per tola. On Monday, silver was priced at NPR 2,255 per tola, whereas it reached NPR 2,280 per tola on Tuesday.
