Gold Price Soars by Rs. 5,000 Per Tola in Nepal; Silver Also Up

The price of gold in Nepal saw a significant surge today (Wednesday), with Tejabi (hallmarked) gold rising by Rs. 5,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

With this increase, the price of hallmarked gold now stands at Rs. 189,800 per tola, up from Rs. 184,800 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, silver prices also went up today by Rs. 50 per tola, reaching Rs. 1,990 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,940 per tola the previous day.

This sharp rise in both gold and silver prices has drawn significant attention in the market. Dealers have attributed the increase to global market fluctuations and changes in the U.S. dollar exchange rate.
