Gold Prices Fall After Historic High, Silver Sets New Record

After reaching a historic high, the price of gold declined in the Nepali market on Monday, while silver continued its record-breaking upward trend. On Poush 14, gold, which had traded at an all-time high on Sunday, dropped by NPR 600 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at NPR 270,000 per tola today. On Sunday, gold was traded at NPR 270,600 per tola, marking its highest price ever.
Meanwhile, silver prices surged further to set a new record. The price of silver increased by NPR 60 per tola on Monday, reaching NPR 4,895 per tola, the highest level recorded so far. On Sunday, silver was traded at NPR 4,835 per tola. The continuous rise in silver prices indicates strong momentum in the precious metals market.
