Kathmandu — Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) has announced that it will not be distributing any dividends for the Fiscal Year 2081/82.
The decision was made during the Board of Directors meeting held on 26th Kartik, 2082, where it was concluded that the bank would not issue either cash or bonus share dividends from the profit of the review period.
However, the decision is still subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As of now, Kumari Bank’s paid-up capital stands at NPR 26.22 billion, and its last traded price (LTP) on NEPSE is Rs. 181.90.
Despite ongoing efforts in system enhancement and post-merger integration, the bank’s decision not to declare any dividend for FY 2081/82 has drawn mixed reactions among investors.
