Lock-In Period of 3.53 Million Shares of Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Ends Today

Kathmandu – The lock-in period of 3.53 million shares of Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited has officially ended as of today. The company informed that the restriction period on trading these shares, which were previously allotted to promoters, local residents, and employees, is now over.

Out of the total shares, 3 million belong to the promoters, 500,000 were allocated to project-affected locals, and 30,000 were reserved for employees. However, the company clarified that the directors and senior-level executives will still be restricted from selling their shares despite the lock-in period ending for others.
