Nepal Micro Insurance Launches IPO open for General Public

Nepal Micro Insurance Limited has initiated an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public starting today, Sunday, February 23, 2025 (Fagun 11). The company is issuing 1.845 million shares worth NPR 184.5 million at NPR 100 per share. Approved by the Nepal Securities Board to issue 2.25 million shares, it has already sold 225,000 shares to Nepalis in foreign employment. Additionally, 67,500 shares are reserved for employees, and 112,500 for collective investment funds.
The public can apply for the remaining 1.845 million shares until February 27 (Fagun 15), extendable to March 9 (Fagun 25) if unsubscribed. Applications range from a minimum of 10 shares to a maximum of 100,000. NMB Ace Capital is the sales manager, and applications can be submitted via C-ASBA and Mero Share. Care Ratings Nepal assigned a ‘CARE-NP BB Minus’ rating, indicating moderate risk, valid until August 22, 2025 (Bhadra 6, 2082).
