Nepal Rastra Bank Publishes Foreign Exchange Rates for Today

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the official foreign exchange rates for Thursday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 137.31, while the selling rate is NPR 137.91.

The Euro is being traded at NPR 155.28 (buying) and NPR 155.96 (selling), while the British Pound Sterling is priced at NPR 184.25 (buying) and NPR 185.05 (selling). The Swiss Franc stands at NPR 166.16 for buying and NPR 166.89 for selling.

Other major currencies are set as follows:

• Australian Dollar: NPR 88.26 (buying), NPR 88.64 (selling)

• Canadian Dollar: NPR 99.05 (buying), NPR 99.48 (selling)

• Singapore Dollar: NPR 106.35 (buying), NPR 106.82 (selling)

• Japanese Yen (per 10): NPR 9.56 (buying), NPR 9.60 (selling)

• Chinese Yuan: NPR 19.06 (buying), NPR 19.14 (selling)

From the Gulf countries:

• Saudi Riyal: NPR 36.61 (buying), NPR 36.77 (selling)

• Qatari Riyal: NPR 37.68 (buying), NPR 37.84 (selling)

• UAE Dirham: NPR 37.38 (buying), NPR 37.55 (selling)

As for the Indian Rupee, the rate has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian Rupees.

NRB has also clarified that these rates are subject to revision at any time if necessary. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the most updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
