NEPSE Adjusts Share Price of Asha Laghubitta After 9.5% Bonus Issue; New Price Set at Rs 1,090.41

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted the share price of Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ALBSL) following the company’s book closure for its annual general meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution. With the book closure completed, NEPSE has updated the share price by incorporating the bonus shares.

NEPSE adjusted 9.5% bonus shares declared by the company. After adjustment, the new share price has been set at Rs 1,090.41 per share. The adjustment was made based on the previous trading day's closing price. On Sunday, the last trading session before book closure, Asha Laghubitta’s shares closed at Rs 1,194 per share.

The adjusted price will serve as the opening reference price for today’s trading session in the secondary market.

Asha Laghubitta has scheduled its AGM for Poush 4 (Friday) at Hotel Arniko Pvt. Ltd., Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok, starting at 2 PM.

The AGM will endorse the proposal to distribute 9.5% bonus shares and an additional 0.5% cash dividend for tax purposes. The meeting will also discuss granting authority to the board for potential mergers or acquisitions, amending the Memorandum and Articles of Association, and appointing the auditor for the upcoming fiscal year.
