NEPSE Closed Today Due to Curfew

Kathmandu – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) will remain closed today as a curfew has been imposed in the Kathmandu Valley. NEPSE spokesperson Murahari Parajuli informed that employees are working from home to publish official notices.

The country has been gripped by the ongoing “Gen Z movement,” which has created a tense atmosphere across major cities. Following the curfew in the capital and heightened unrest, investors had also demanded the closure of the market.

In response, NEPSE has suspended all share trading for today. Further updates on when the market will reopen will be announced after additional decisions are made.
