Nerude Microfinance Posts NPR 196.6 Million Profit in Q4, EPS NPR 18.17, NPL 11.32%

Nerude Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited has published its unaudited financial statement for the fourth quarter of FY 2081/82, ending on Ashad 32, 2082. According to the report, the institution earned a net profit of NPR 196,611,644 during the review period, compared to NPR 254,107,219 in the same period last year.

The company’s total assets reached NPR 21,775,840,680, while total liabilities stood at NPR 18,858,850,900. In terms of deposits, the institution collected NPR 6,505,917,584, and loans and advances amounted to NPR 20,138,261,621.

In its income structure, net interest income was NPR 3,174,090,134, while net fee and commission income totaled NPR 88,16,433. During the period, operating profit reached NPR 281,975,029, and distributable profit stood at NPR 133,918,727.

Key financial indicators show Earnings Per Share (EPS) at NPR 18.17, Net Worth Per Share at NPR 181.21, Capital Adequacy Ratio at 8.02%, Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio at 11.32%, and base rate at 13.15%.

The data reflects that the institution has remained active in deposit collection and loan expansion. However, profit has declined compared to the previous year, which may be attributed to factors such as credit risk, interest rate fluctuations, and operational expenses during the period.
