Kathmandu, May 29 – The Government of Nepal has announced that all company-related processes—from registration to exit—will be handled through a one-stop system to ensure faster and more efficient services.
While presenting the budget for fiscal year 2082/83, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that the government will implement an integrated mechanism to streamline business operations from start to closure.
In addition, the budget includes a provision where new industries approved for setup in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and industrial areas will receive a full rent exemption for the first three years of operation.
This move is expected to boost industrial establishment, attract investment, and create employment opportunities. The policy is seen as especially beneficial for startups and manufacturing-focused enterprises looking for early-stage support and cost reduction.
