Only Shareholders Listed Until Today Eligible for Ghorahi Cement’s Dividend

Shareholders recorded on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) up to Thursday (today) will be eligible to receive the dividend announced by Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited. The company is set to close its books for one day on Friday, Mangsir 26, for the purpose of its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution.

Ghorahi Cement has proposed a 10% bonus share distribution and a 0.5263% cash dividend on its current paid-up capital. To endorse this proposal, the company has scheduled its fifth AGM for Poush 14 at Hotel Pauwa in Ghorahi, Dang, starting at 9 AM.

The AGM will also deliberate on issuing a rights offering in the ratio of 1:0.75 based on the capital after bonus adjustment. In addition, the meeting will consider proposals related to loan approvals, amendments to the company’s memorandum and articles, and granting necessary authority to the board of directors.
