President Dhakal Urges Spanish Investors to Strengthen Nepal–Spain Economic Ties

Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has urged Spanish entrepreneurs to enhance economic relations between Nepal and Spain and explore greater investment cooperation. Addressing a special program organized by the Nepali Embassy in Madrid on Wednesday, Dhakal highlighted numerous investment opportunities in Nepal, particularly in sectors like tourism, energy, agriculture, information technology, and infrastructure.

Dhakal emphasized that tourism is the backbone of Nepal’s economy, citing the immense religious, cultural, and natural appeal of destinations ranging from Mount Everest to the birthplace of Lord Buddha in Lumbini. He expressed confidence that with quality services and infrastructure development, Nepal could attract even more international tourists and investors.
