River Falls Power Limited Reports Modest Profit Growth

River Falls Power Limited (RFPL) has published its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the report, the company’s net profit has seen a modest increase compared to the same period last year.

For the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the company earned a net profit of NPR 31.4 million, which is a 4.96% increase from the NPR 29.9 million net profit reported for the same period last year.

The growth in the company’s net profit is attributed to a steady increase in electricity sales revenue. During the review period, electricity sales revenue rose by 1.20%, and total profit increased by 1.51%. Meanwhile, the company’s financial expenses decreased by 0.46%.

Along with the profit, the company's earnings per share (EPS) also saw a modest rise. EPS increased by 85 paisa, reaching NPR 17.95. As of the end of Ashoj (mid-October), the company's net worth per share stood at NPR 105.01, with a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 17.43.

The company, with a paid-up capital of NPR 70 crore, has accumulated a reserve fund of NPR 35 million.
