Sharp Drop in Gold and Silver Prices in Nepal

On Tuesday, 24th June, 2025, the Nepalese bullion market witnessed a significant drop in the prices of both gold and silver. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold dropped by Rs. 1,700 per tola and is now being traded at Rs. 193,500 per tola. On Monday, the same gold was priced at Rs. 195,200 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver has also declined by Rs. 10 per tola. As of today, silver is being traded at Rs. 2,160 per tola, compared to Rs. 2,170 per tola on Monday. Market analysts attribute this decline to global price movements and currency fluctuations influencing the local market.
