Sharp Surge in Gold Price, Silver Sets New Daily Record

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, the price of gold in the Nepali market witnessed a significant increase. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold surged by NPR 2,100 per tola, reaching NPR 197,600 per tola. On Tuesday, gold was traded at NPR 195,500 per tola. This marks the sixth consecutive day of rising gold prices.
Meanwhile, silver has continued its record-breaking rally. On Wednesday, the price of silver rose by NPR 30 per tola, setting a new all-time high. Silver is now being traded at NPR 2,350 per tola, up from NPR 2,320 on Tuesday. The price of silver has been consistently breaking its previous records day by day, reaching new peaks in the domestic market.
