Shine Resunga Bank to Issue NPR 1 Billion Debenture at 8% Interest from July 16

Shine Resunga Development Bank Limited (SHINE) is set to open the issuance and public offering of its debenture titled “Shine Resunga Debenture” from July 16 (Ashar 32). The bank is issuing a 10-year debenture at a fixed annual interest rate of 8 percent.

A total of 1 million units of debentures, each with a face value of NPR 1,000, will be issued, amounting to NPR 1 billion. Of this, 60% or 600,000 units (worth NPR 600 million) will be privately placed, while the remaining 40% or 400,000 units (worth NPR 400 million) will be offered to the general public. Out of the public issue, 5% (i.e., 20,000 units) have been reserved for mutual funds.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 500,000 units. The earliest closing date for the issue is July 19 (Shrawan 4), and the latest is July 29 (Shrawan 14).

NIMB Ace Capital Limited is the issue and sales manager. Interested investors can apply via the C-ASBA system using the “Mero Share” online portal provided by CDS and Clearing Ltd., or through ASBA-approved banks and financial institutions.

ICRA Nepal has assigned a rating of [ICRANP-IR] BB+ to the bank, indicating moderate risk in terms of timely servicing of financial obligations. Interest payments on the debenture will be made semi-annually after deducting applicable taxes.
