Shiv Shree Hydropower to Issue 100% Rights Shares from September 4

Shiv Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) is set to issue 100% rights shares starting from September 4, 2025 (Bhadra 19, 2082). The company will offer rights shares in the ratio of 1:1, meaning one new share for each existing share held by shareholders. In total, the company will issue 14.76 million shares worth NPR 1.47 billion at a par value of NPR 100 per share.
For this purpose, the company had announced its book closure on July 31, 2025 (Shrawan 16, 2082). Therefore, only shareholders who held shares until July 30, 2025 (Shrawan 15, 2082) are eligible to apply. Applications will remain open until September 24, 2025 (Ashoj 8, 2082). Infomerics Credit Rating Nepal has assigned the company an IRN Single B Minus rating, indicating high risk in meeting financial obligations.
Citizens Capital Limited is the issue manager for this rights offering. Investors can apply through Citizens Bank International branches, participating banks and financial institutions via the C-ASBA system, or online through the Mero Share portal. The company’s current paid-up capital of NPR 1.47 billion will increase to NPR 2.95 billion after the rights issue. The proceeds will primarily be used to repay bank loans.
