Swarojgar Laghubitta Schedules AGM on Magh 3 to Pass Dividend Proposal

Swarojgar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited has called its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve the dividend proposal declared from the profit of the previous fiscal year. The AGM will be held on Magh 3 (Saturday) at Nepal Academy Hall, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, starting at 11:30 AM. The meeting will approve a special proposal to distribute a 14.25% bonus share and a 0.75% cash dividend for tax purposes based on the current paid-up capital. The AGM will also consider proposals related to mergers and acquisitions, amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association, election of three directors representing public shareholders, appointment of an auditor, and other agenda items. For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the company has announced book closure on Poush 18. Accordingly, shareholders who hold shares traded on NEPSE up to Poush 17 will be eligible to attend the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
