Today Is the Last Day to Apply for Darma Khola Hydro Energy IPO

Today (Asar 23) is the final day to apply for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Darma Khola Hydro Energy Limited.

The company had opened the IPO on Asar 9 for project-affected locals and Nepali citizens working abroad in the first phase.

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) approved the company to issue IPO shares worth Rs. 395 million, which is 38.33% of its issued capital of Rs. 1.03 billion. As per the approval, a total of 3,950,000 shares with a face value of Rs. 100 each are being issued.

The IPO allocation is as follows:

  • 1,030,500 shares for locals of Musikot Municipality in Gulmi, and Galkot and Badigad Municipalities in Baglung

  • 291,950 shares for Nepali citizens working abroad

  • 58,390 shares for company employees

  • 145,975 shares for mutual funds

  • Remaining 2,423,185 shares for the general public

Eligible applicants can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and up to a maximum of 50,000 shares. Nepali citizens working abroad can apply via C-ASBA approved banks and financial institutions, their branches, or through the CDSC’s Meroshare platform.

Local residents can apply through Global IME Bank’s Wami branch, Laxmi Sunrise Bank’s Galkot branch, Prabhu Bank’s Galkot branch, and other collection centers approved by Darma Khola Hydro after receiving authorization.

Laxmi Sunrise Capital is the issue manager for this IPO.
