Sanima Bank Declares 7.37% Cash Dividend for FY 2081/82 — Full Dividend History (2069–2082)

Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) has announced a 7.37 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2081/82. The bank decided not to issue any bonus shares this year and has proposed to distribute the entire dividend in cash. This decision was made based on the profit earned during the fiscal year and will come into effect after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). The book closure date for dividend eligibility has been fixed for 2082 Ashad 27 (July 11, 2025). Shareholders who have their names registered in the company’s books till Ashad 26 will be entitled to receive the announced dividend.
Sanima Bank has maintained a consistent record of dividend distribution since its establishment. Over the past decade, the bank has provided a mix of bonus and cash dividends, balancing capital growth with liquidity for shareholders. In the fiscal year 2079/80, it distributed a total of 14.70 percent dividend, including 9 percent bonus shares and 5.70 percent cash dividend. In 2080/81, the bank offered 5.26 percent cash dividend only. For FY 2081/82, the bank once again opted for a cash-only dividend of 7.37 percent, signaling a conservative yet stable financial strategy focused on maintaining strong capital reserves.
Analyzing the bank’s dividend pattern from 2069 to 2082 BS shows that Sanima Bank’s payout ratio has remained within the range of 10 to 20 percent, reflecting its stable profitability and prudent management policies. The highest total dividend during this period was 21.05 percent in FY 2071/72, while the lowest was 5.26 percent in FY 2080/81. The current 7.37 percent cash dividend represents the bank’s continued commitment to rewarding investors even during a challenging economic environment. The absence of bonus shares this year suggests that the bank aims to retain earnings and further strengthen its capital adequacy ratio in line with Nepal Rastra Bank’s updated regulatory standards. As liquidity remains tight in the market, cash dividends provide direct value to shareholders, enhancing their immediate returns.
