4.	Nepali Market Sees Sharp Increase in Gold and Silver Rates

Gold and silver prices witnessed a notable rise in the Nepali market on Friday, Mangsir 12. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold increased by Rs. 2,200 per tola, reaching Rs. 2,50,600. This marks a significant jump from Thursday’s rate of Rs. 2,48,400 per tola, reflecting renewed demand and market volatility in the precious metals segment.

Similarly, the price of silver also surged, gaining Rs. 65 per tola. On Friday, silver was traded at Rs. 3,345 per tola, compared to Rs. 3,280 recorded on Thursday. The consistent rise in both gold and silver indicates increased market activity and shifting global price trends, influencing domestic rates accordingly.
