80 Percent Spending in the Last Fiscal Year

In the fiscal year 2080/81, the government managed to spend only 80.45 percent of its budget. According to the Office of the Comptroller General, out of the total budget of NPR 1,751.31 billion, NPR 1,408.98 billion was spent. The recurrent expenditure stood at 83.43 percent, while capital expenditure was limited to 63.47 percent.
