Darmakhola Hydro Energy's IPO Opens for General Public from Today (Shrawan 15)

Darmakhola Hydro Energy Limited has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public from today, Shrawan 15. The company had previously issued and allotted IPO shares to local residents affected by the project and to Nepali citizens working abroad with approved labor permits.
The company received approval to issue 3,950,000 shares, equivalent to 38.33% of its issued capital of NPR 1.03 billion (103 crore 5 lakh). Out of this, 1,030,500 shares were allotted to local residents of the project-affected areas, 291,950 shares to Nepali citizens working abroad, 58,390 shares for company employees, and 145,975 shares for mutual funds.
Now, in the second phase, the company is issuing the remaining 2,423,185 shares to the general public at a face value of NPR 100 per share, totaling NPR 242.3 million.
Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 50,000 shares. The IPO will close as early as Shrawan 19 and by Shrawan 29 at the latest.
