“Ghar Nirman Fest 2082” to Be Held in Kathmandu, Expected to Generate Over Rs. 2 Billion in Transactions

Aiming to overcome the slowdown seen in Nepal’s construction sector and revive market activity, the “Ghar Nirman Fest 2082” is set to take place in Kathmandu. Organized by the House Construction Foundation, the event will be held at Bhrikutimandap from Poush 12 to 15.

Recognized as Nepal’s largest construction-related expo, the fest comes at a time when the country’s construction and commercial activities are expanding but many brands continue to face challenges in product presentation, effective branding, and building customer relationships. The Foundation believes the fest will help address these challenges and create new market opportunities.

Through direct interactions, expert guidance, and branding consultations, participating businesses are expected to effectively reach their target customers. Organizers estimate that the four-day event will witness economic transactions exceeding Rs. 2 billion, with more than 40,000 visitors expected to attend.

Major corporate houses including Asian Paints, Plumber Pipe, and Nepovit Tiles will participate in the fest. The event aims to connect construction material manufacturers, technicians, and consumers in one platform, supporting both B2B and B2C market expansion. Highlighting innovation, the expo will also feature Dome House Technology and a world-record brick.

A key attraction will be the world’s largest brick, prepared by the Foundation, which will be submitted for inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records. Additionally, an “upside-down house”—a complete home structure and interior displayed in reverse—will also be showcased. The fest will introduce Dome House technology that enables the construction of homes, hotels, or resorts within a single day.

Visitors will be able to receive free expert consultations on construction-related queries. Engineers, architects, construction material specialists, and industry experts will offer guidance on design, cost, quality, and modern technologies.

The Foundation aims to make the fest creative, exciting, and innovation-focused, bringing together producers, professionals, and consumers under one roof, ultimately helping revitalize Nepal’s construction market.
