Gokyo Labs has launched RAPID, a unified open-banking API platform that enables corporate users to access multiple banking services from a single system. With RAPID, businesses can perform balance checks, view statements, make fund transfers, process EMI payments, and manage salary disbursement—all without switching between different bank portals or software.
Previously, companies had to rely on separate banking systems for each service, increasing both operational time and cost. With RAPID integrated into a bank or a company’s ERP/software, all banking functions can be handled from one centralized interface.
The service has already gone live for Global IME Bank customers using the Tigg accounting software, and Gokyo Labs says more banks and platforms will be added soon.
RAPID also digitizes consent and minimizes operational hassles, featuring strong security measures such as end-to-end encryption and multi-layer verification. The platform aims to strengthen Nepal’s API banking ecosystem, support the growth of Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), and ensure equal access to advanced digital banking tools for small, medium, and large businesses.
