Gold Prices Rise as Silver Sets New Record

Gold and silver prices increased in the Nepali market on Wednesday, Poush 2. Gold rose by NPR 700 per tola, while silver surged by NPR 170 per tola, setting a new all-time high.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of hallmark gold reached NPR 259,700 per tola on Wednesday. On Tuesday, gold was traded at NPR 259,000 per tola.

Similarly, silver recorded a sharp rise and is being traded at NPR 4,055 per tola on Wednesday, marking the highest price ever. On Tuesday, silver was traded at NPR 3,885 per tola.
