Gold and Silver Prices Reach New High

The prices of gold and silver increased on Friday, setting new records in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold, which was traded at Rs. 221,300 per tola on Thursday, rose by Rs. 1,200 today to reach Rs. 222,500 per tola.
Similarly, silver also hit a new record high. Its price climbed by Rs. 55 per tola, reaching Rs. 2,740 per tola, the highest level recorded so far.
The Federation stated that fluctuations in the international market and rising demand have been the major reasons behind the increase in gold and silver prices.
